Still here
May 16, 2013 - 8:38:24 a.m.
I see users logging in occasionally, probably disappointed to see no changes. I have much more info to enter, but it's all unstructured and a lot of the paper is in my Seattle home (I now live in Amsterdam). None of it is extremely interesting, but someday it will all get here!
Don't be shy if you have details to share. Just email me or send a tweet.
Who is Frida?

A German WW-Person site lists Frida Anna Auguste Gerwitz, born 26 Aug 1875 as married into a noble family. I have no idea where she might fit in, though.Geni.com

Geni.com has been around for a long time now, and I believe has grown (in size and maturity) to the point it can be both trusted and valuable for research. When they (soon) re-enable GEDCOM imports, I will be taking a snapshot from this site and attempting to merge.
There are already many records there that resulted from a 2008 import, before Geni supported sources. You can browse that data from my profile, or if you're here for Gerwitzes, from Gottfried Gorrwitz of Önsbach.French Gerwitzes
May 12, 2012 - 8:02:42 p.m.
A Jasnin family tree lists some 19th-century French Gerwitzes, starting with Otto, that I cannot tie to anyone else.Favorites
